Using state-of-the-art technology, mySupermarket suggests swapping some of your products for others which are equal in quality but lower in price than the items in your trolley.
After doing your shopping in mySupermarket from ASDA, Tesco, Sainsbury's or Ocado, you get to decide whether to accept our suggestions to help you save money. These could be:
- You selected 3 bottles of 2 litre Evian water, but there is an offer on Volvic of 3 for 2. Why pay more?
- You selected 2 jars of 100g Nescafe Gold Blend but a jar of 200g Nescafe Gold Blend cost less. Why pay more?
Price Checker can be used to save money on your trolley in any supermarket. So it doesn't matter which supermarket you are shopping in, you can always choose to use Price Checker.

While you shop, you can compare the cost of your trolley in all four supermarkets using
the comparison chart at the top of your screen.
When you have finished shopping, you have the chance to see the contents of your trolley in the other three supermarkets.
Of course, some products in Tesco won't be available in Sainsbury's, but we make it easy for you by replacing those
items with the nearest Equivalent items in Sainsbury's. This lets you compare almost
identical trolleys between one supermarket and another.
So if your trolley of 30 items came to £50 in Tesco, but only £45 in Sainsbury's -
wouldn't you want to know about it?
You then have the chance to review all the items which are not available in the alternative supermarket, such as own
brands, and either accept the Equivalent we selected, or choose another very similar item.
For example, instead of Tesco's Peppermint tea bags, you could accept Sainsbury's Peppermint tea bags or choose another brand altogether.
Once you're happy with your new trolley, you can send your trolley and checkout. It's effortless saving.

To make your shopping experience even quicker and easier, we help you to locate
the special offers that matter to you. You can find them in four places:
- The Top Offers Department - contains all the special offers for your supermarket, organised by department, as well as exclusive bonus ipoints offers.
- Every department has a shelf that contains all the offers found in that department
- Your favourites include an "Offers for You" shelf. These are carefully selected
from the thousands of special offers, based on your favourite products.
- On the regular shelves - The prices of items with special offers are marked in red. For these items, the usual
price is still displayed in grey and will be crossed out.
