Switching Supermarkets
Switching supermarkets saves you money effortlessly. The Alternative supermarket gives you a lower price for an almost
identical trolley.
However, some of the items you selected may not be available in the Alternative supermarket. We therefore suggest
Equivalent items for your trolley. We try to find an item which is almost identical to the item you chose and automatically
place it in your trolley.
You can review all the Equivalent items we suggest and select a different item if you prefer.
To review Equivalent items:
- Click Review Equivalents beneath the Trolley Total. The Equivalents page shows the number of items which were not available in your original supermarket, highlighted in red.
Items which are not available at your original supermarket are crossed out. Next to each item you can see the
closest Equivalent. We automatically place the closest Equivalent in your trolley.
- If you don't want one of the Equivalents, click - to remove the item, as you would on a normal shopping shelf.
We will also try to show you a series of alternative products. These items are not as close a match as the
highlighted Equivalent but are very similar. We offer these to give you a wider selection of products to choose from.
Click Replace to select one of the alternative items.
To choose an Equivalent:
- Click Replace beneath the product which you would like to buy. This item will now be highlighted in yellow.
- After you have selected all of the items which you would like to replace, click Return to 'Trolley Checker' to return to Trolley Checker.
To complete your order:
- Review the total cost of your trolley on the Trolley Checker page.
- Click the 'Send' button on your final chosen supermarket, for example Send Trolley to Tesco >>
