  • Greene King IPA ale is an award winning, perfectly balanced, premium quality beer brewed in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. The official beer of English Rugby. IPA stands for India Pale Ale, a particular type of beer that was brewed for export to expatriates during the days of the Indian Raj. Hops have a preservative effect on beer, so an unusually large quantity were used in the brewing process to ensure that the beer remained in good condition during the long sea voyage to India. To this day Greene King IPA retains the distinctive hoppy taste and aroma. The characteristic hoppy taste and aroma comes from the use of Challenger and First Gold hops, which are combined with pale and crystal malts to create this perfectly balanced, premium quality beer. • Recyclable. Tadcaster's finest ale is named after its favourite son. The original John Smith began his drinking empire in 1847, when he started brewing his legendary ale for the town's thirsty mill workers and factory hands, some things never change. It soon became the nation’s favourite and now reigns as the No.1 Smooth keg ale. John Smith’s Extra Smooth is an ale with a distinct cereal character. It has malty and caramel flavours complimented by some fruitiness.  It is both sweet and bitter and is creamy smooth in texture. It's just a right good pint, John Smith's is relevant across a range of occasions. Pop it in the fridge and serve ice cold.

This special Innis & Gunn beer is a rich stout matured over bourbon-infused oak
This Innis & Gunn red stout has been brewed using our own ale malt, rye crystal malt, roasted barley and wheat. Whitbread Golding hops were used to complement the nutty, biscuit character of the malts with their soft hop bitterness and dried fruit flavour.
We left the brew for days to mature over Bourbon-infused oak, which gives it a mellow vanilla flavour and a warming hit of Bourbon.
Red stouts are unusual these days but are produced in a similar way to darker stouts, only the malts are roasted more lightly which gives the final brew a lighter, fruitier character and of course its signature red colour.
