Our Solera Vat Unique to Scotch whisky, our hand-crafted Solera Vat marries whiskies matured in three types of oak cask: sherry, bourbon and new oak. The Solera Vat is always kept at least half full, creating a rich and intense whisky, with notes of honey and raisins, which develops greater complexity every year.
Our History In 1886, William Grant fulfilled a lifelong ambition by building his own distillery. He named it Glenfiddich, Gaelic for Valley of the Deer, and on Christmas Day 1887 the first drop flowed from the stills. Today, still owned by William Grant's family, Glenfiddich is the world's leading single malt.
Our Awards Since, 2000, Glenfiddich has received more awards than any other single malt Scotch Whisky at the International Spirits Challenge and International Wine and Spirit Competition. Distilled in Scotland. Welcoming, vibrant and rewarding
A classic Speyside single malt matured in a combination of Traditional oak and Sherry oak casks for a minimum of ten years.
Nestling in the heart of Speyside is the village of Aberlour where a source of exceptionally pure spring water known as St. Drostan's Well inspired James Fleming to build his distillery in 1897. This richness of the natural environment combined with the soft and pure water creates Aberlour single malt, a distinctive whisky of generous character.
Colour: Gold. Nose: The dry, fresh, fruity aromas of early autumn apples and pears are subtly enhanced with sweet notes of vanilla and mint toffee. Palate: Exceptionally smooth and creamy, with spicy-sweet nutmeg and honey combining with the freshness of autumn fruits. Finish: Long, soft and warming.
Matured in a combination of hand-selected traditional and sherry oak casks for a minimum of ten years, this expression represents the very essence of Aberlour character. As a classic Speyside malt, this ten year old Aberlour achieves a remarkable harmony marrying subtle aromas of spice with hints of autumn fruits, giving it a soft and long finish.

Taste Jura Superstition is crafted from a selection of the finest aged Jura single malt whiskies. This mysterious spirit has a unique style and character, with tastes of tangy cinnamon, ginger spice and honey with whispers of salty sea spray, rich coffee and roasted chestnuts.
In a World of Its Own The Isle of Jura can be found nestled off the west coast of Scotland. It's a place famed as much for its folklore as it is for its whisky. A magical haven where a sense of solitude pervades: one road, one pub, one community and one distillery. There is no whisky and no island quite like Jura. It truly is in a world of its own.
The Story Jura is an island wrapped in superstition: never cut peat before May and always build haystacks in a clockwise direction. Perhaps it's the one regarding the Ankh cross that demands greatest attention. This ancient Egyptian symbol is rumoured to bring good fortune - just so long as you pour the whisky in the correct manner. Hold the bottle with the Ankh cross in the centre of your palm, they say, and good fortune will surely follow.
Become a Diurach Diurachs is the Gaelic name for the people of Jura. IN A WORLD OF ITS OWN. Nestled off the west coast of Scotland, the Isle of Jura is a place rich in legend yet shrouded in mystery. A magical haven where a sense of solitude is all-pervading: one road, one distillery, one community. There is no whisky and no island quite like Jura. It truly is in a world of its own.

    Single malt Scotch whisky
The Glenlivet 15 year old, the French Oak Reserve. The selective maturation in new French Oak casks made from Limousin oak creates a characterful and unique expression.
Colour - resinous gold. Nose - creamy and rich. Peel and candied grapefruit aromas. Palate - round, sweet, incredibly smooth. Fruity and nutty flavours. A gentle cinnamon spiciness. Finish - lingering with traces of toasted hazelnuts and almonds.
In 1824, George Smith established his distillery in the remote and wild location of Glenlivet. Here, he found the perfect conditions to craft the definitive Single Malt Whisky. Through this timeless, primeval valley run the icy waters of the river Livet. Its name, "smooth flowing one" in Gaelic, reflects the Glenlivet's beautifully rich and elegant flavours.
High up in the remote area of Glenlivet, George Smith was the first to produce a whisky of such exceptional quality that it went on to define the taste of Speyside. His definitive single malt inspired so many other distilleries to adopt the appellation 'Glenlivet', that it became known as the "Longest Glen in Scotland". In 1884 a legal agreement was reached to distinguish Smith's Original Whisky by referring to it exclusively as 'The Glenlivet'.

  • The Glenlivet®. George Smith's Original 1824 Pure Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Aged 12 years. Aged only in Oak Casks. Long before he won his official licence in 1824, George Smith began distilling The Glenlivet® on a wild hillside in the remote highlands of Scotland's Speyside region, renowned then and now as the famous heartland of malt whisky excellence. Today, his successors proudly make the same fine whiskey, in the same fine place. The Glenlivet® distillery stands where George Smith founded it almost 200 years ago. Near the River Livet, Josie's Well still pours forth its uniquely pure, mineral rich water to feed the mash tun. As it did in 1824. At this height (850 feet above the sea) the stills are run at a gentle heat, yielding a delicate fragrant spirit unique even in Speyside. Along with two centuries of tradition, only so grand a place could produce so fine a whisky and give The Glenlivet® its incomparable quality. The Duke of Richmond and Gordon was a great landowner in the Highlands of Scotland. In 1865 he wrote to George and John G,. Smith confirming the exclusive status of The Glenlivet®, already legendary even among the whiskies of Speyside, the famous heartland of malt whisky excellence.

Laphroaig pronounced "La-froyg", is an all-malt Scotch whisky from the remote island of Islay in the Western Isles of Scotland. Laphroaig is a Gaelic word, and means "the beautiful hollow by the broad bay". In the making of Laphroaig, malted barley is dried over a peat fire. THE ONLY SINGLE MALT SCOTCH WHISKY FROM THE ISLE OF SKYE.
From the western shores of the Isle of Skye, in the tall shadows of the Cuillin Hills, comes a single malt like no other. An alluring, sweet, full-bodied spirit with a warming afterglow, so easy to enjoy yet, like Skye itself, so hard to leave.
    AGED 10 YEARS.
    CLASSIC MALTS OF SCOTLAND.
Talisker, made beside the Loch Harport in the jagged shadow of the Cuillin range, is the only single malt whiskey from the Isle of Skye.
A soft, smoky nose introduces an enticing, sweet taste. Full bodied and smooth, this muscular malt also has a robust, deep intensity. It has a long, richly warming finish.
Founded in 1830, the distillery keeps faith with traditional values. Surviving a disastrous fire in 1960 the distillery was rebuilt around exact copies of the old pot still and worm tubs, preserving a method of distillation found nowhere else. And today Talisker is for many the complete, even the only single malt.
Talisker is one of the six CLASSIC MALTS from Scotland's malt whisky making regions. They are: TALISKER™· Island. GLENKINCHIE™· Lowland. DALWHINNIE™· Highland. CRAGGANMORE™· Speyside. OBAN™· West Highland. LAGAVULIN™· Islay.

At HIGHLAND PARK we insist on an uncompromising approach to whisky-making. We're one of only a handful of distilleries that slowly malts its barley on the stone floor, physically TURNING IT BY HAND for a more balanced flavour. Next, we smoke it over local AROMATIC PEAT, hand-cut from Hobbister Moor to bring a unique fragrant heather character to the whisky. Then it's placed into oak casks - not just your usual bourbon casks though - SHERRY OAK CASKS FROM SPAIN that cost ten times as much, but bring a priceless natural colour and flavour to our whisky. Then comes the hardest part: leaving it be for 12 or more years to mature in the consistently cool ORCADIAN air. An even when it's ready, we're not. We choose and combine our best casks, then leave them to settle and HARMONISE FOR JUST THAT LITTLE BIT LONGER TO DELIVER OUR COMPLEX WHISKY THE RESULT IS A UNIQUELY SMOOTH, BALANCED SINGLE MALT WITH A RICH FULL FLAVOUR and a gentle smokey finish. It's the kind of DRAM you long for when you've worked as hard as us.

GLEN MORAY SINGLE MALT WHISKY has been distilled in the city of Elgin since 1897. Elgin, the capital of Speyside, lies at the heart of Scotland's most famous malt whisky producing region. The city is situated with the LAICH OF MORAY, also known as the GRANARY OF SCOTLAND and is famous for its malting barley and mild, even climate - hence the ancient saying proclaiming that it has more sunshine then any other part of the country.
'The LAICH OF MORAY has forty days more summer than any other part of Scotland', OLD MORAY SAYING.
GLEN MORAY SINGLE MALT WHISKY is matured in traditional, low roofed warehouses allowing its light and refreshing character to emerge. A subtle Speyside malt, GLEN MORAY is matured in oak casks producing a whisky which is light gold in colour and gently spiced with fruity butterscotch notes.
GLEN MORAY SINGLE MALT WHISKY has a smooth and rounded taste, ideal for drinking at any time.

  • Single malt scotch whisky
Marrying is a dying art in Scotch Whisky making, but it ensures consistency and high quality in the spirit, and The Balvenie and Glenfiddich are two of the few distilleries left still marry their whiskies after maturation. The Belvenie Doublewood is a 12 year old single malt which gains its maturation in two woods
Unlike most distilleries, The Balvenie still uses traditional methods in the productions of their whisky. The barley used is grown by the distillery on their land, and the water used is from the pure natural springs in the Conval Hills. The Balvenie Distillery is the only Speyside Distillery to have its own floor maltings, thus reinforcing its links with traditional methods of Scotch Whisky production. The Balvenie employ their own coppersmith to tend to the stills and coopers to look after the casks, so The Balvenie employees have thw wisdom of experience when making the whisky.
The Balvenie won Gold Medal in the International Wine & Spirit Competition and the International Spirit Challenge 2001. Balvenie website: www.balvenie.com

  • DALWHINNIE DISTILLERY. EST 1898.
    FIFTEEN YEARS OLD.
    BOTTLED IN SCOTLAND.
From the highest distillery in Scotland, set in the windswept Grampian Mountains with their unlimited supply of fresh spring water, comes this delightfully gentle, delicately smoky malt.
    CLASSIC MALTS OF SCOTLAND.
The Gaelic word from which the name Dalwhinnie comes is Dali-coinneeamh, which translates as "meeting place". The highest distillery in Scotland was founded on these bleak, wind-swept central Highland pastures in 1898.
The classic Highland malt, Dalwhinnie ages slowly to develop a remarkable character. Fifteen years of gentle ageing make it a smooth, subtle malt without a trace of harshness. Heart-warming yet also mellow and honeyed, its combination of delicacy and depth sets it apart.
Where it matters, Dalwhinnie retains the old ways. Increasingly rare wooden worm-tubs, a landmark outside the distillery as distinctive as its pagoda roofs, help this remain a spirit of real character.
Hidden depths are also apparent. Smooth-tasting Dalwhinnie yields flavours of creamy vanilla and a heather-honey sweetness, finishing in a smoky Highland glow of surprising intensity.
Dalwhinnie is the remote highland destination on a journey around Scotland's six malt whisky making regions. The other Classic Malts are: GLENKINCHIE Lowland. CRAGGANMORE Speyside. TALISKER Skye. OBAN West Highland. LAGVULIN Islay.

  • 40% Vol. DRINK RESPONSIBLY. FROM THE WORLD'S OLDEST WHISKEY DISTILLERY. ORIGINAL GRANT TO DISTIL 1608.
    Triple Distilled.
Matured in Two Woods. The "Old Bushmills" Distillery Co. Ltd.
    COUNTY ANTRIM.
The history of distilling at Bushmills dates back to 1608. This Bushmills 10 year-old Single Malt is the result of many generations of distilling expertise. Every drop of Bushmills Malt is carefully distilled three times for exceptional purity and smoothness, using the pure water from St Columb's Rill, which flows over ancient basalt rock to the Old Bushmills Distillery. The unpeated malt barley allows the pure taste of Malt to shine through. Bushmills Malt is then left to mature in a combination of both Oloroso sherry and American bourbon seasoned oak casks, for a minimum of ten years. The result of this "two woods" maturation is a rich smooth Single Malt, with overtones of vanilla, honey and sherry. As distillation, maturation and bottling are carried out at the Old Bushmills Distillery, the quality and heritage of this distinctive Single Malt from Ireland is unparalleled.

This is the original, award-winning Penderyn single malt whisky, matured in ex-bourbon barrels and finished in ex Madeira casks for generous flavour and subtle complexity.
The hillside village of Penderyn southern gateway to the wild beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park, gives its name to this unique Welsh single malt whisky, made here at the only distillery in Wales.
One of the very few distilleries in private hands today, Penderyn continues a treasured tradition; in the 18th century an early Welsh distiller was among the founding fathers of bourbon distilling in America.
Each day here we 'charge' our unique copper still with a specially fermented single variety malted barley wash. The day's distillation yields a single barrel of pure single malt spirit, which is married with spring water from our own source, then matured in selected first quality oak barrels.
Unique distillation and careful maturation create a single malt whisky, in which a sweet, elegant, Penderyn house style shines through. Even then, there’s more to do. To attain their full depth and complexity of flavours, different hand-crafted expressions of Penderyn are aged or finished in different woods.
The original Penderyn in this bottle has been aged in ex-bourbon barrels and finished in ex-Madeira wine casks to bring out its full golden character. At a generous 46% abv it has a classic freshness with aromas of cream toffee, rich fruit and raisins. The palate is crisp and finely rounded, with the sweetness to balance an appetising dryness. Notes of tropical fruit, raisins and vanilla persist in the finish.
Like the fabled Welsh Gold (in Welsh, Aur Cymru) used to make heirloom jewellery proudly worn by kings and princes down the ages, Penderyn single malt is rare and highly prized. To those who love it, it's a new kind of Welsh Gold. Aur Cymr

  • Vibrant, fruity and fresh describe this expression from the Dufftown Distillery of Speyside, where fine single malts have been produced since 1896. Exceptional care is taken at every stage of producing The Singleton to create the best taste possible. Longer fermentation and slower distillation than many competitors ensures exceptional smoothness and depth of flavour. The liquid is then matured in a combination of American and European oak casks (with only the finest casks hand selected for a richer taste) to ensure extra flavour and perfect balance.

  • One of the fastest growing single malt whiskies in the world - The must-have malt to stock in any respected whisky bar One of the softest deliveries on Speyside, the silky barley and citrus caress the taste buds with rare tenderness - Well respected by whisky experts The Glenrothes vintages are both finite and rare - Offers consumers the opportunity to drink a precious liquid that won’t always be available Unique ‘sample room’ bottle shape and hand-written label – Delivers exceptional back bar stand out
Appearance Pale golden. Nose American oak vanilla and coconut, hint of plums. Palate Full malty flavour, medium sweet, vanilla and orange zest. Finish Long and slightly spicy.
From 1879 until the mid 1990s The Glenrothes from Speyside was known as a ‘Top Class’ malt only by Scotch whisky makers. Happily it is now available as a single malt to a growing band of like- inded connoisseurs, with an awardwinning range of expressions including vintages and our house style Select Reserve.
History and Heritage Origin/Location Hidden from the main street in the town of Rothes, Speyside, the distillery lies at the foot of the Mannoch hills beside the Rothes Burn. The water that it used in the process of making The Glenrothes comes from two natural springs - the Ardcanny and the Brauchhill, just a couple of miles upstream. History The first single malt from The Glenrothes distillery was bottled in 1994. Since then only a small number of vintages have been released, such is the exceptional quality required. Each vintage is, by definition, rare and finite and Select Reserve was therefore created to typify the house style of the distillery. Laden with juicy citrus, ripe fruits, creamy vanilla and a hint of spice the Select Reserve is the essence of The Glenrothes range.
Production Maturity Not Age: We only bottle when the whisky is ready and at its peak, thus ensuring outstanding flavour and differentiation between the different expressions. Select Reserve embodies this policy and stands at the heart of the range. Careful Cask Selection: There is a very high rejection rate of casks of excellent whisky that are not deemed good enough for the Single Malt. In fact only 2% of production goes into The Glenrothes - the rest goes to blends. Stringent Wood Policy: The Edrington Group has Scotland’s most stringent wood policy, and is industry leader in maturation knowledge. We use a variety of casks to create a balance of flavours with great depth and structure. Unusually Slow Distillation: Very tall, uniform stills, a huge boiling ball with a second distillation at just ten litres per minute is probably the slowest in Scotland. This encourages reflux, reduces sulphur and increases exposure to copper, producing a consistently sweet, fruity, clean and elegant new spirit which develops with a distinct creamy texture once matured.
