  • Rich, full and bursting with sherried fruit with creamy oak, a hint of peat and a delicious sweetness... the finish is long and flavoursome with a lingering spiciness Expertly distilled with pure highland spring water and barley, then matured in American or Spanish oak casks originally used for Bourbon or Sherry to achieve its unique fruity flavour 'A fine example of classic highland malt, sitting between the smoky, peaty aromas of Islay malts and the sweetness of soft speyside malts.' Every precious drop of this Golden Single Malt Whisky is created in our Distillery in the brooding wilderness of Scotland's Highlands. Like the mountains themselves, little has changed over the centuries. We still use water, filtered through peat to granite below before bubbling up as pure crystal spring water - soft, slightly acidic and perfect for whisky making. We then distil this Single Malt in time-honoured fashion before gently air dying with a hint of peat smoke to impart a light smoky flavour. Finally, this Classic Highland Malt is matured in oak casks previously used for Bourbon or Sherry to impart a richly rewarding fruity complexity. The Result? A full bodied whisky with subtle floral notes, hints of oak and a delectable spicy sweetness. Distilled in the Highlands Region. Selected By J. Glass

  • Distilled and matured in Ross-shire Extra matured in Sauternes casks Perfected by the sixteen men of Tain Highland single malt Scotch whisky Toasted oak and vanilla are intricately woven with lemon, honey and white chocolate Literally 'the golden drink of the Gods', Glenmorangie Nectar d'Òr derives its lemony, honey silkiness and sumptuous finish from the rare Sauternes barriques (from the most renowned French vineyards) selected for extra maturation. Extra Matured In the early 1990's our passion for wood led us to experiment: we extra matured Glenmorangie in a different cask for only the last couple of years of maturation. To great success! This 'finishing' touch adds further characteristics to Glenmorangie's fine taste: the Glenmorangie Extra Matured range was born. Best bourbon casks + Extra matured in sauternes barriques A Journey of Passion... Our ongoing quest for perfection takes us on many journeys, exploring the world for inspiration. After a painstaking search, we have secured the very best oak casks from some of the great vineyards of the world for our Glenmorangie Extra Matured range. ...In the Footsteps of Pioneers Our pursuit of perfection has endured over 165 years, starting in 1843 with the installation of the tallest whisky stills in Scotland. It has continued with our insistence on using American white oak casks in which to age our whisky. These casks are ideal for Glenmorangie, adding a natural sweetness to the subtle tastes of our spirit. As we only use our casks twice whilst many others refill their casks many times, Glenmorangie benefits from both the quality and freshness of the wood. A Legendary Legacy At our Highland distillery, Glenmorangie (Scots Gaelic for 'Glen of Tranquility'), balances this thirst for innovation with our long years of experience to craft the perfectly balanced dram. Non-chill filtered and bottled at 46% ABV, Glenmorangie Nectar d'Òr is honey-like and silky in texture, with a sumptuous finish. With three to choose from in the range, we invite you to discover your own personal favourite.

  • "A strange and beautiful sight to see the fleet put silently out against a rising moon, the sea-line rough as a wood with sails, and ever and again and one after another, a boat fitting swiftly by the silver disk." ROBERT LOUIS STEVENSON. THE GENUINE MARITIME MALT. Established in 1826 in the town of Wick, Pulteney Distillery is the most northerly distillery on the mainland and at that time was only accessible by sea. The barley was brought in by sea, the whisky shipped out by boat and many of the distillery workers were also employed as fishermen. Sadly the fishing industry is no longer part of daily life in Wick but Pulteney Distillery continues to operate using the same traditional distilling methods first introduced in the 1800's to create one of the finest Highland Malts available. Pulteney is one of the most unique Scotch whisky distilleries. The wash still has no swan neck and it is thought that when the original still was delivered, it was too tall for the stillhouse and the manager insisted it was "cut off". The spirit still resembles a "smuggler's kettle" and both undoubtedly contribute to the distinctive character of the whisky. Once distilled, the spirit is filled into a selection of specially selected bourbon and sherry casks and laid to rest in the distillery warehouses, until the distillery manager decides the optimum time for bottling each of the casks. Throughout the years of maturation, the casks have taken time to absorb the Northern Scottish sea breeze and as a result, Old Pulteney Single Malt Scotch Whisky is often referred to as "The Manzanilla of the North". "Unashamedly excellent and deserves so much more recognition around the world". JIM MURRAY, WHISKY WRITER. Appearance: Deep amber, red golden (with a slight pink hue). Aroma: Medium to high intensity and complexity. Dry with a hint of sea-air. Tasting Notes: Dry, medium bodied and smooth with a clean finish: faintly salty with a slight sherry note. Pulteney Distillery-Wick. The most northerly distillery on the Scottish mainland.

  • Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban Scotch whisky is distilled and extra matured in Port casks. Mature Glenmorangie is transferred from original bourbon casks and then extra matured or 'finished' in the finest ruby port casks from the 'Quintas' or wine estates of Portugal. In Gaelic 'extra matured' means 'Ruban'. The result is a Scottish malt whisky that’s smooth and velvety with a complex balance of dark chocolate and mint flavours. The finish is long and lingering with a hint of port.

Glenmorangie was established in 1843 and is distilled and matured in Ross-shire Scotland using the finest golden barley and mineral-rich water from the Tarlogie springs that's owned by the Glenmorangie Distillery. The distillery also boasts the tallest stills in Scotland. The company are very proud of their roots in the ancient lands of Ross-shire, in particular the eighth century Cadboll Stone lying close to the distillery and Glenmorangie house. It’s an icon of the Picts, the original people of Scotland, it is as intriguing and compelling as Glenmorangie itself. For century's it has acted as a form of inspiration to the distillery.

Quinta Ruban malt whisky is non chill-filtered and bottled at 46%. Vol. alc. Please drink responsibly.
