Description
Greene King IPA ale is an award winning, perfectly balanced, premium quality beer brewed in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. The official beer of English Rugby. IPA stands for India Pale Ale, a particular moretype of beer that was brewed for export to expatriates during the days of the Indian Raj. Hops have a preservative effect on beer, so an unusually large quantity were used in the brewing process to ensure that the beer remained in good condition during the long sea voyage to India. To this day Greene King IPA retains the distinctive hoppy taste and aroma. The characteristic hoppy taste and aroma comes from the use of Challenger and First Gold hops, which are combined with pale and crystal malts to create this perfectly balanced, premium quality beer. It’s easy to drink, making the perfect choice for any occasion. It’s refreshing on its own but it’s also great with curries, Mexican dishes and other spicy foods.
This ale contains: Alc. 3.6% vol./1.8 UK Units. Please drink alcohol responsibly.
