The finest Cognacs are produced from vines grown in the Grand Cru and Premier Grand Cru appellations around the towns of Cognac and Jarnac in France. Here the chalky soils result in Cognacs of moreelegance and finesse with delicate fruity floral aromas.
Saisbury's VS Grand Cru Cognac comes from these superior vineyards. After distillation the Cognac ages for at least three years in French oak barrels prior to assessment for Grand Cru status.
