  • Coca Cola is one of the most famous soft drinks in the world, you can find it for sale in about 200 different countries! It’s even distributed in numerous types of packaging to please all customers from all walks of life: 2l bottle, 1.5l bottles, glass bottles, individual plastic bottles and even cans and all versions are sold individually and in multi packs. For more than 125 years Coca Cola as provided people with a refreshing and great tasting soda. Drinking an ice cold glass of Coke is about as refreshing and uplifting as it gets! The secret of its success lies in the combination of vegetable extracts and natural flavourings that went into its original classic recipe.

Dr. John S Pemberton invented Coca Cola in 1886. Did you know that he was a pharmacist in Atlanta, Georgia and not someone with a background in food or drink manufacturing? The soda was originally intended to be medicinal but all the customers from the pharmacy thought it tasted great so it ended up being sold as a carbonated soft drink instead. A few years later, the influence of investor Asa Griggs Candler and his marketing vision slowly helped to build Coca Cola up to become the multi-national brand that it is today. Today, approximately 1.6 billion servings of Coca Cola are sold daily worldwide and the famous bottle is a universal icon around the world.

  • Coca Cola Cherry used to be known as Cherry Coke, in short, it’s a cherry flavoured version of the Coca Cola soda. Unofficial versions of this cherry flavoured drink were sold from soda fountains before Coca Cola decided to bottle their version of the drink. Dispensaries started adding sweet cherry syrup to their fountains in the early 1980’s and after testing their version at the 1982 World Fair, the Coca Cola company finally launched Cherry Coke in 1985.
Coca Cola Cherry is the original flavoured cola. Over the years the company saw how successful it became and launched various other flavoured versions including Vanilla Coke and Coca Cola Citrus Zest.

  • There’s something about drinking Coke from a glass bottle that makes it feel more authentic and refreshing than when drinking it from a can or plastic bottle. The design of the glass bottle has a more classic feel to it and reminds us of the Coca Cola original glass bottle packaging. It almost feels like you’re drinking vintage brew! Coca Cola was originally sold by the glass as a soda fountain beverage and it was only in 1915 that Coca Cola company decided to venture into the bottled beverage industry. To stop the drink being confused with other similar drinks a special contour shaped bottle was exclusively designed for Coca Cola so it stood out against the rest. The Root Glass Company of Terre Haute, Indiana designed the contour bottle and it launched in 1916. Even though it has been slightly changed over the years the core of the bottle remains pretty much the same as their original design.

  • Diet Coke Citrus Zest is a low calorie citrus flavour fizzy soft drink based on Diet Coke. For 25 years people have enjoyed the delicious taste of Diet Coke and now they can enjoy it with a twist of citrus to make it that little bit more refreshing than it already is. This soft drink is sugar free and low calorie, so low in fact that it only contains 2 calories per 100ml which is not bad at all for a flavoured cola drink. It uses sweeteners instead of sugars so it's a good soft drink option for diabetics and people watching their calorie inake.

Diet Coke Citrus was introduced in 2007 as another flavour to the Diet Coke range. It contains lime and citrus zest which helps to add to its tangy flavour.

  • Pepsi is a soft drink made by Pepsico. It’s a refreshing and invigorating carbonated cola drink, popular worldwide. Throughout its history, Pepsi and Coca Cola have been rivals but if you ask many Pepsi fans they believe that Pepsi tastes better than Coke, They claim that it’s less sweet, less fizzy and has a different aftertaste. The ingredients differ as well. In 1975 Pepsico launched the Pepsi Challenge taste test. Originally, they went around public places and had blind tasting competitions to help promote and market Pepsi as its own drink. The Pepsi Challenge evolved into a challenge where you can even win prizes, for example the Pepsi Challenge during 2011 American X-Factor.

Did you know that: Pepsi was first made in New Berk, North Carolina by Caleb Bradham, a pharmacist and pharmacy owner. He started making Pepsi at home in 1898 as he wanted to create a fountain drink that he could sell his customers. His aim was for it to help digestion and boost energy. At the beginning it was simply known as “Brads Drink” but it was eventually renamed Pepsi-Cola after sales grew so much that he established it as company in 1902. The origin of the name came from some of the original core ingredients - Pepsin, a digestive enzyme and Kola Nuts. Eventually it was re-branded as Pepsi and along the way the packaging and branding has also gone through lots of change.

    Contains caffeine.

  • Pepsi Max Wild Cherry flavour is a no sugar, low calorie soft drink. The taste of Pepsi Max has been combined with cherry flavouring to create this fun and fruity carbonated cola soft drink! It was originally called Wild Cherry Pepsi but was re-launched under this new name in 2005. Over the years Pepsi have introduced many different flavoured colas but Cherry has always been a favourite in America and Britain. There's just something about the combination of cola and cherry that adds just enough fruity sweetness to an already sparkling and tasty drink. Other flavours included Pepsi Lime, Pepsi Vanilla and Pepsi Gold, which had a hint of ginger and was used to promote 2006 FIFA World Cup and ICC Cricket World Cup 2007. Pepsi like making special editions. They are normally inspired by sponsored events or holidays so keep an eye out for them!

It’s made with Aspartame and Acesulfame K sweeteners instead of sugar. Each 250ml serving contains 1.5 calories
