    10% Cashback

You can drink Amaretto a few different ways - here are the Disaronno favourites:
    1. The original: Drink a shot over ice with a squeeze of lemon

    3. The cooler: Add 1 shot of Amaretto, 3 shots of cranberry juice and 2 shots of orange juice.

Like all Jim Beam products, Red Stag Black Cherry is made from the highest quality ingredients. And because it is made with Jim Beam, the world's finest bourbon, it has a delicious taste and is rich with American heritage.
Red Stag by Jim Beam is the biggest news in Bourbon for years. Taking the finest quality Jim Beam Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey and infusing with natural black cherry flavours to create an incredibly accessible and different spirit drink.

Palate Corn sweetness and mellow oak accented by a hint of black cherry for smoothness and balance.
Finish Satiny and judiciously sweet, with a true bourbon warmth.
Back in 1795 when Jacob Beam began making his special Kentucky bourbon, majestic elk, led by proud "Red Stags", dominated the eastern mountains until they were hunted to extinction. In 1997, the elk were re-introduced to Kentucky and are now thriving again, with the largest free-roaming herds east of Montana. Our distillers-inspired by these amazing creatures-proudly gave their name to Jim Beam Red Stag- a fine Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey infused with natural flavours. Just as the stately elk of Jacob Beam's time played their part in Kentucky history, Jim Beam Red Stag will add its own rich and exciting chapter to the story of Jim Beam.

  • Hand crafted in small batches, hand-dipped in red wax to finish - A truly hand made bourbon, crafted with precision and care The only whisky distillery to rotate barrels during ageing - Allowing the bourbon to develop a consistent taste Made with red winter wheat instead of rye, yielding a sweeter taste - Increasing its versatility, ideal for mixing Growing demand for Maker's Mark had led to careful allocation of stock - Opportunity for bars to stock a highly sought-after, hand-crafted bourbon with limited availability
Appearance Rich and brilliant amber. Nose Full, yet delicate; well-rounded; possessing a distinctive caramel aroma of the charred oak with a hint of vanilla; pleasant and inviting. Palate Rich yet soft on the palate with a subtle sweetness. Light, spicy flavour with a hint of butterscotch and vanilla. Finish Smooth, short and warm.
Created in 1953, the brainchild of Bill Samuels Snr, Maker's Mark used red winter wheat to produce a new, kinder, gentler tasting bourbon. Named Maker's Mark as a guarantee of its quality, each bottle is hand-dipped in the iconic red wax.
History and Heritage Our president, Bill Samuels, Jr., comes from a long line of bourbon makers which started way back in 1780. About 1840, the Samuels family actually started to make a living from distilling and the recipe was passed down six generations and remained unchanged until it got to Bill's father. Bill Samuels, Sr., had his own idea of how a whisky should taste, so he abandoned the family recipe and set out to create his own. If he was going to make a bourbon and put his name on it, he wanted one he could be proud of. And that meant a bourbon that was more pleasing to the palate. So in 1853, he bought an abandoned Victorian distillery (now fully restored and a National Historic Landmark) in picturesque Happy Hollow, Kentucky, and set to work on making his dream a reality. He developed a new recipe based on locally grown grains. The most unique thing he die, however, was replace the traditional bourbon flavouring grain of fry with red winter wheat, which produced a much gentler taste. Once the recipe was settled on, Bill graciously turned to his wife to name the bourbon and design its bottle. In designing the bottle, she developed everything from its shape (square and round were just too easy) to the hand-lettered label and hand-dipped red wax seal. Folks often ask where she got the idea for our distinctive red wax. Well, being a collector of 18th century bottles of cognac, she noticed many of them were sealed in colorful wax. So she simply “borrowed” the idea. Mrs. Samuels also collected fine English pewter. She knew that accomplished silver and pewtersmiths put their personal mark only on their best work, and she thought a bourbon maker should do the same thing. That’s why we’re named Maker’s Mark and every bottle bears our mark: the SIV symbol. What does the SIV symbol stand for? It’s really quite easy. The “S” is for the Samuels family. The “IV” is the Roman numeral four, representing which generation of Samuels created Maker’s Mark.
Production Maker’s Mark is one of the only bourbon distilleries that makes just one brand of bourbon. We’re pretty easygoing about things, but when it comes to our recipe, that’s one thing you’ll see us get passionate about. We use pure, iron-free limestone spring water exclusively. Not city, well or river water. Our source is a ten acre limestone spring-fed lake at the distillery. Rather than the traditional Rye, we use yellow corn and red winter wheat from specially selected small-farm cooperatives, all of which are located within the limestone geology near the distillery. This wheat gives our whisky its soft, mellow taste. Our dated rollermill is the key to preparing our grain for cooking. While some distillers think this method is too slow and produces a lower yield, it’s just fine for us. The slow process does not scorch the grain like a hammermill can. We are among the few remaining bourbon distillers that propagate their own yeast for fermentation with cultures that we can trace back to the pre-Prohibition era. We also use the traditional sour mash method, similar to making sourdough bread, where we always leave over some culture from one batch to start another.
    HANDMADE.
    45% alc./vol.
Maker's Mark is America's only handmade bourbon whisky never mass produced. Each individual batch is less than 19 barrels, and this small quantity means we can be choosy about everything we use and everything we do to craft our whisky. That's why we still use the old-style sour-mash method. We start the fermentation of each new batch by using a little of the last. The result is a far more consistent product. We're proud of our unique and full flavoured handmade bourbon, and so we add our maker's mark SIV to each bottle. Enjoy. Bill Samuels, Ju. PRESIDENT.
Anytime you're in the neighborhood, stop by and visit us at our distillery, near Loretto, Kentucky. Built in 1889 and beautifully re-stored, the home of Maker's Mark is a designated Kentucky and National Historic Landmark.

  • Famous Grouse blended Scotch whisky is matured for a long time in seasoned oak casks and bottled in Scotland. Matthew Gloag and Son established this Famous Grouse whisky in Perth Scotland in 1896. Their secret to this incredibly smooth whisky is the way they match and blend the fine rare Scotch whiskies that they use. For this whisky they have matched and blended Macallan and Highland Park fine malt whiskies with grain whiskies. The blend has notes of oak, sherry and citrus combined with a fruity and mature medium dry finish.

The Famous Grouse is named after the Red Grouse, Scotland's national game bird. Originally, it was called ‘Grouse brand’ but it became so popular that in 1906, they decided to add ‘Famous’ to its title. By 1980 it was a brand leader in Scottish whisky and was awarded a Royal warrant. To this day, the Famous Grouse is still one of Scotland's favourite whiskies.

  • The Black Grouse Scotch whisky showcases a distinctly darker side to The Famous Grouse family. A deep and mellow drop with smoky overtones, The Black Grouse balances reassuring smoothness with aromatic, peaty flavours. This is partly due to the blend of peated malt whiskies as the Black Grouse is a carefully brokered marriage between The Famous Grouse and Islay malt whiskies. At first the taste is light and aromatic in its smokiness but then you get to the silky smooth note of the Famous Grouse, leaving you hints of cocoa and spice and a long smoky aromatic finish.

The Black Grouse Scotch Whisky is named after the Black Grouse who is a relative of the Red Grouse game bird. This bird is an endangered bird and buy buying this whisky you are helping maintain Black Grouse conservation work across Scotland, Northern England and Wales. So far 85,000 acres of native habitat have been improved and there are signs that the black grouse population is responding positively! Conservation takes time and commitment, so does making distinctively smooth, and smoky whisky. Enjoy The Black Grouse Scotch Whisky and help save its namesake.

  • The Famous Grouse company has been blending whisky for more than 100 years and that’s where the inspiration for this whisky came from. They have expertly used hard to find and pricy sun dried sherry oak casks to mature a blend of Famous Grouse whisky. As a result, the Naked Grouse whisky tastes sherry sweet, rich and smooth with hints of dried fruits, cinnamon and spice and a lingering finish of black cherries and dark chocolate.

The Naked Grouse is a blended scotch whisky is also well known for its interesting apothecary style bottle with cork top and its insistence on not declaring its age. Whisky drinkers have a perception that the quality increases with the age so The Famous Grouse are challenging this by not declaring the age of this blended whisky. They claim the blend is as high quality as old aged whisky and even single malt whiskies. It’s been nominated for the World Whiskies award 212 so it must be doing something right!

  • The Famous Snow Grouse smoothchill filtered blended grain Scotch whisky. The snow Grouse is best enjoyed cold, straight from the fridge or even the freezer! It tastes light and elegant and this is reflected in the packaging, which looks distinctly more like a spirit bottle than a whisky bottle. It has pleasant notes of vanilla and fruit which makes it light, smooth, sweet and easy to drink.

This chilled whisky is named after the Snow Grouse bird that can be found in the Highlands of Scotland so it’s quite fitting that the Whisky is chill filtered and tastes best when served severely chilled. It likes cold conditions just like its namesake!

  • 17% ALC/VOL. This natural fruit cream is produced from fresh cream and the unique fruit of the Marula tree.
Amarula is a cream liqueur made from a blend of the unique marula fruit and stabilised cream. Unlike any other cream liqueur, Amarula is not made from a whisky or brandy base. The marula fruit is distilled to produce a fruit spirit base. Because of its genuine African heritage, Amarula is more exotic than other cream liqueur brands. Deliciously smooth - every sip is pure pleasure.
The spirit of Africa - Amarula originates from the southern plains of Africa where the marula fruit grows. The fruit itself has a light yellow skin, with deliciously juicy vitamin C packed flesh around a kernel rich in natural oils. The marula fruit attracts many animals - especially elephants - and is sometimes referred to as the "elephant tree" as elephants travel miles to gorge themselves on this delicious fruit. The marula tree plays a unique role in local tribal legend as the fruit is believed to have aphrodisiac properties and so features in local fertility rites. The marula tree is also known as "The Marriage Tree" and to this day tribal weddings take place beneath its branches.

  • Heritage. Created in 1510 by Dom Bernardo Vincelli as a reviving elixir - a Bénédictine monk skilled in the production of herbal remedies who had settled in the monastery at the Normandy port of Fécamp. The monastic order guarded the secret recipe and handed it down through the generations for hundred of years. In 1789, revolution swept through France overthrowing much of the old order. The monastery at Fécamp was destroyed by fire and the monks fled leaving behind many precious possessions including the secret recipe. In 1863, Alexandre LeGrand (the son of a local wine merchant) discovered an old manuscript amongst family documents which he recognised as a recipe. Using his considerable knowledge of wines and spirits, he deciphered the manuscript and produced the secret recipe for the first time for almost a century. As a tribute to its creator, he called the drink Bénédictine. The initials DOM which appear on each bottle of Bénédictine stand for "Deo Optimo Maximo" - to God, the good, most great.
How is it made? The recipe includes over 27 herbs and spices from all over the world, eg Cardamom from India, nutmeg and cloves from the Comoro Islands, cinnamon from Sri Lanka, myrrh from Saudi Arabia, vanilla from Madagascar. All the ingredients are carefully weighed and sorted to form four separate blends. Each of these is then distilled individually and matured for 3 months in oak casks before blending. The resulting combination is matured for more than a year, to allow the flavours to marry before filtering and bottling. This long and complex process, which takes more than 2 years, is carefully monitored at each stage to ensure the consistency of quality demanded by Bénédictine.

  • Cointreau is essentially an orange flavoured clear liqueur. Made in France from more than 150 years, the old recipe is a closely guarded secret that’s still used today. The core flavor is made from oils extracted from both sweet and bitter orange peels.

Cointreau is a popular ingredient for many well known cocktails including the “Margarita” and “Cosmopolitan” but it can also be enjoyed neat over ice or as part of a long drink. Try combining it with a glass of tonic, lemonade or cranberry juice.

  • Drambuie is a liqueur made from a secret blend of Scotch whisky and Scottish heather honey combined with herbs and spices. To this day it is blended by hand and the making process has barely changed since it was brought to Scotland in 1745. The whisky base is made blending the finest Speyside and Highland malt whiskies, as they are well known for their smoothness and subtle flavours. After the whisky is blended, it is then married with heather honey, herbs and spices to create the Dambuie Elixir. Drambuie has a distinctive and complex full-bodied flavour and it is a bright, deep golden colour. A drink perfect for all occassions. Try it straight or mixed with soda or ginger beer.

The Royal apothecary created Drambuie’s secret recipe in 1746 for medicinal purposes for the rebel Prince Charles Edward Stuart. The Prince soon started drinking it every day and it became known as his personal draft. After the defeat in the Battle of Culloden the King’s men pursued the rebel Price and he eventually escaped to the Isle of Skye after being helped by John MacKinnon, the chief of the Highland MacKinnon clan. As a gesture of thanks, the Prince shared his secret recipe with his saviour. In 1873 the recipe was passed on to John Ross, a hotel owner on Skye, so he could start making it for his hotel guests. The liqueur was so successful that they trademarked the name they had given it and in 1909 the first commercial bottle was finally produced. The name Drambuie means “the drink that satisfies” in Scots Gaelic. It is shortened from the full name “An Dram Buidheach”.

Many famous artists, painters, poets and writers discovered its charms and their works included several references to their taste for this new aperitif. The secret of PERNOD's unique taste is well kept, but its flavour is derived from a distillation of star anise and aromatic plants and herbs.
